Working principle of electrodialysis

3. Electrodialysis is usually controlled under constant DC voltage. During operation, as long as the flow and pressure of concentrated water, dilute water and polar water are well controlled under constant voltage, and the electrodes are changed regularly, so it is easy to operate automatically.

4. The equipment is compact and covers a small area. The water is desalinated and desalted by the tight multi membrane electrodialysis device. There are not many auxiliary equipment, so the small-scale and small-scale equipment can be combined together.

5. The equipment is durable, the pretreatment is simple, the membrane and the separator of electrodialysis are all made of polymer materials. The foreign comparison shows that the ion exchange membrane is better than reverse osmosis in anti pollution, and the material of electrodialysis equipment is better than that of metal materials used in distillation method. In addition, because the direction of water flow in electrodialysis is parallel to the membrane surface, unlike that in reverse osmosis device, the water flow through the membrane surface vertically is not as high as that of reverse osmosis.

6. The utilization rate of water is high, and the drainage treatment is easy. The concentrated water and polar water in the influent of electrodialyzer can be recycled or reused, so the utilization rate of water is high.
